はじめに
こんばんは、いつの間にやら風薫る５月ですね。いかがお過ごしですか？
私は、Mastodonでお知らせしましたが、前々から楽しみにしていたMe-Made-May（以後MMM）に参加します！

Zoeさんが始めた、手作りの服などのアイテムとの関係をより良くするためのチャレンジです。

参加者はそれぞれ誓いを立て、５月の間手作りの服をこれまでよりしょっちゅう着たり、いつもとは違う装い方をします。

せっかく作ったのにあまり着ていない服を引っぱり出して活躍させたいな、と思っています。
Instagramが主な発表の場のようですが、私は偏屈なので、このブログに書きためて、新しい画像や概略をMastodonでお目にかけようと思います。
着画は無しですが、その日身に着けるアイテムを撮影しておこうと思います！
せっかくなのでバイリンガル（日＆英）で発信したいと思います。息切れするかもしれませんが…。
I would like to wear my handmade items which I didn't wear very often, though I worked hard to make them.
It seems that many people make their photos or comments public on Instagram, but I'm obstinate a little, so I'm going to show you them on this blog and to mark up photos and comments.
I don't take photos in which I'm wearing my handmade items, but I'm going to take photos of the items which I wear in the day.
I think this is the chance of lifetime, so I would like to write bilingually, in Japanese and English, though I may get out of my breath...

今日はダブルガーゼで作った白いＶネックブラウスを着ました。
Today I wear white V neck blouse made in double gauze.
漂白が必要なことが画像から分かりますね…

I tried sewing this pants to see the width of the pants.
ちょっとパジャマっぽくて外に着て行くには勇気が要ります（行ったけど）
It's a bit like pyjamas, so it takes courage to wear to go outside (though I went).
涼しくて部屋着としては快適です。
This pants is cool, comfortable as a room wear.

今日はすてきな本屋さんに行くのでこれを着ようと昨夜から決めていました。
I have decided to wear this sweater today from last night, because I go to a nice book store today.
このセーターは本当に私によく似合います。
This sweater suits me nicely.
これからも服を作るなら、これぐらい似合うものを作りたいです。
I would like to make nice items which fit me nicely like this when I make my wardrobe items.
このセーターにはミーハーな製作動機といったエピソードもあるのですが、それはまたどこかで！
This sweater has a little silly episode of making idea, I may write it at somewhere, someday!

今日はお出かけをしないのんびりした日です。
Today is slow day, I don't go away.
このレギンスは１１日に履いていたものです。
I wore this leggings on May 11th.
スカートはネットに載せるのはたぶん初めてですが、１０年以上前に縫ったものです。よく見ると色がたくさん入っているスカーフ柄がお気に入りです。
I sewed this skirt more than 10 years ago, probably this is the first time I show it on internet.I love this scarf motif, I can see many colors in it if I look closely.

七分袖のレーヨンブラウス

１１年前に縫ったものです。当時のブログ記事を読み返したら「２０年ぐらい前に買った布（で作った）」とあってちょっとびっくりしました。（年令が判る…？？）

I sewed this blouse 11 years ago.I read again my blog post which I wrote when I finished this blouse, I wrote "I bought this fabric about 20 years ago", so I am amazed. (You can guess my age...??)
とても美しいシルエットで今着ても古びていません。
Very beautiful silhouette, so it seems not to be aged when I wear now.
この日はブラウス１枚で外出するには肌寒くて、風邪を引きそうになりました。
This day was a little chill to go out with only a blouse, so I almost caught a cold.

最終日は力作です！
It's the final day of Me-Made-May 2025, I wear my sewing effort.
七分袖、裏地なしのブラウスジャケットです。
This is a "blouse jacket", three quarter sleeve, without liner.
着るととても立体的でシルエットがきれいです。
It has a third dimension and beautiful silhouette, it appears when I wear.
４つのポケット、ネックラインのギャザー、衿の難しい始末、とても手間がかかったことを覚えています。
For example, 4 pockets, gathering at neck line and difficult finishing of collar, I remember that it needed a lot of work.
当時大好きだったボタン屋さんでボタンを選んで、ボタンホールを手でかがったことも思い出します。
I remember too, I selected buttons at my favorite button shop at that time and I made button holes by hand.
そのお店はずいぶん前に閉店して建物も残っていません。でも、この服を見ると、私はその店の様子やおっかなくてすてきな店主のことを思い出します。
The shop has closed a long time ago and its building is not existent, but I can remember the look of the shop and its stern and great storekeeper lady when I look at this blouse jacket.
MMM2025 まとめ postscript
○白い服はまめなお手入れ（洗濯）が必要（白い服が好きで何枚か作って持っているけど）
I learned white clothes needs careful attention(washing). (I like white clothes, so I made and have some white clothes.)
○お気に入りの服はもう充分持っているのかもしれないと思った。週末ごとにお気に入りの手作り服を着るのはとても楽しかった。
I thought that I have my favorite clothes enough. It was fun to wear my favorite me-made clothes on every weekend.
○ソーイングブックの新刊を追いかけたり、生地屋さんのサイトをよだれダラダラで見る必要はないのかも。服に仕立てたい布はまだたくさん持っているけれど、「早く縫わなくちゃ！」と罪悪感から縫うのではなく、楽しみながら仕立ててゆきたい。
I thought that I don't need to chase new sewing books' publishing, either to see fabric shops' online stores eagerly. I have many fabrics which I would like to make clothes from, but I would like to enjoy to make, not from guiltiness, "I should make up my fabrics into clothes soon!!"
○手作り服を「毎日着て記事を書く」のは大変そうなので、来年も今年ぐらいのペースで参加したい。
It seems that it is difficult to wear and write articles everyday, so I would like to participate in Me-Made-May2026 in the way like this time.
○今年は５月にしては肌寒い日があったので、ひとえで長袖のジャケットが作りたいなと思った。（Tilly and the ButtonsのSONNY JACKETがいいなと思っている。）裏地つきのスプリングコート（ショート丈）や七分袖のブラウスジャケット（５月３１日に着た）があるから、もう要らないのかもしれないけど…どうしようかなぁ。
This year, there were some chilly days as May, so I thought that I would like to make a light jacket (long sleeves, without liner). I think that Tilly and the Buttons' SONNY JACKET is suitable for it. But I have short spring coat(with liner) and three quarter sleeved blouse jacket(I wore 31st May), so I may not need new jacket...? I'm wondering.
○あと、手製本（ノート作り）を仕事にしようと思っているので、作業用のエプロンを作りたい。どんなタイプにするか考え中。
Besides, I'm planning to make handmade books(notebooks) a job, so I would like to make an apron for work. I'm thinking that which type apron will be suitable for my needs.
